The new gameplay footage provides players with the deepest look yet at some of the areas they will encounter in Athia, including Cipal the last remaining haven where the surviving Athians take refuge from the devastating Break, a powerful force that corrupts everyone and everything it touches. Today, Square Enix and Luminous Productions dropped a ten-minute gameplay trailer for their highly anticipated action-RPG, Forspoken. The archivist mentions they can craft something for Frey, but they need specific tools to do so. Johedy, an Athian archivist, sends Frey on a quest after she presents them with a piece of odvaha ore. Frey can interact with merchants in Cipal to purchase goods and several NPCs will give her quests to undertake as well there are even some felines to help guide Frey around. Outside its walls is the Break phenomenon that corrupts everything it touches, including wildlife. The new gameplay footage gives a look at Cipal, the last remaining safe places for surviving Athians that they can call home.
